What we make

River Pixels uses AI to redraw your photo as artwork, and a person on our team checks every order before it prints. AI results vary: previews show what the art will look like, but they are not a guarantee of an exact likeness. Printed colours can differ slightly from your screen. Previews carry a watermark; the print and the purchased digital file don't.

Free previews

Previews are free within daily limits, which keep the service fair for everyone. We may change the limits, or pause previews, at any time.

Your photos

• Only upload photos you took or have permission to use, and that the people pictured are happy for you to use.
• Don't upload nudity, anything sexual involving anyone under 18, violent or hateful content, or other people's copyrighted characters, artwork or logos.
• We may refuse a photo or order that breaks these rules, and block accounts that keep trying.
• You keep all rights to your photos. You let us use them only to make, show you, print and deliver your art.

Your art

Art you buy is for your personal, non-commercial use: hang it, gift it, share photos of it. Please don't resell it or use it to promote a business without asking us. We won't use your photos or art in our own marketing without your permission.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars. The total at checkout, including shipping and any tax, is what you pay, and it holds for 30 minutes.
• Payments are processed by Flutterwave. An order is confirmed only once the payment is verified.
• If a price is clearly wrong, we'll contact you before printing and refund you if you don't want to go ahead.

Checking, printing and delivery

We check every order within 24 hours before it goes to print. If something looks wrong with the art, we'll contact you first. Delivery times and shipping costs are shown at checkout; see Shipping.

Cancellations, reprints and refunds

You can cancel from your order page until printing starts, and get back what you paid minus the payment processing fee. After delivery, if your piece arrives damaged or misprinted, or doesn't feel right, tell us within 14 days and we'll reprint it or refund you. Details are in Reprints and refunds. This doesn't affect your rights under consumer law.

Your account

Keep access to your email safe, since it's how you sign in. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; see our privacy promise for what we keep.

Our responsibility

We make every order with care. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee or delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't let us limit.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. The terms in place when you ordered apply to that order.
